Yagu means baseball in Korean, and KBO baseball is where this site got its start, but we welcome fans and players of the game from all corners of the world.
Our mission is to provide a safe and welcoming space where anyone can join the discussion. To keep things fun for everyone, let’s agree on a few ground rules:
- We are respectful.
- To everyone, but especially new members and moderators.
- New members: Everyone has unique skills and life experiences, so everyone has something to contribute.
- Moderators: They are the umpires of our community. Yes, you may disagree with their decisions sometimes, but decisions must be made, and quickly. It is a thankless, difficult, but essential job.
- We are positive.
- We don’t rejoice in others’ misery or wallow in our own.
- Some teams and players have well-known nicknames that belittle them, but we do not use those here. Not even when it’s your team.
- We are responsible.
- We do not spread lies. Opinions and rumors are fine, as long as they are presented as such, without malicious intent (following rules #1 & #2). Photos and videos altered with the intent to mislead are not ok.
- We do not post content we don’t own (unless allowed by the content owner).
- We do not bet on sports. This includes daily fantasy. (If this is your thing, you’ll need to discuss it elsewhere.)
